Alfords Point – intermediate climbing

Hi all

Ronny and I are heading to Alfords Point for some climbing on Saturday 24th –

It has a good variety of climbs from 17 – 23 or so (and some even higher). Not many climbs under 17, so you will need some previous outdoor climbing experience. There will be lead climbers among the group and top ropes can be setup though.

As always, drivers may be prioritised.

Plan to get to the crag around 8.30am and head back around 4-5pm.. We will plan transport for all so let me know if you can bring a car or if you need a ride.

What to Bring – Personal mandatory gear:
 Climbing Shoes
 Food: Lunch & Snacks
 Sunscreen
 Hat
 Water (2L)

Mandatory gear that the club can provide includes the following.
– Helmet
– Harness
– PAS + carabiner
– ATC + carabiner

Please copy and paste from the above list what gear you need in in the description.
Also if we haven’t met you before, please let us know your experience, the potential grades you’ll be climbing, if you will lead or top rope, and when you were last outdoors.
Please also give an indication of any medical conditions or injuries that may affect you during the trip.
