Are you ready to get back into shape after lockdown but want to ease back into hardcore adventuring? Well here’s a chance to do just that! Join Zoe and Aminah in a scenic stroll around the lower Blue mountains from Warimoo station to Blaxland (http://www.wildwalks.com/bushwalking-and-hiking-in-nsw/glenbrook-eastern-blue-mountains/blaxland-to-warrimoo-station-florabella-pass.html). This is a nice easy 6km walk with beautiful scenery, forests, rivers and interesting rock formations (some ups and downs). Please note this walk won’t be for you if you’re afraid of heights as there are some sections with steep drops on one side.
We will meet at Warimoo station at 11.47am and be at Blaxland around 3pm.
You will need to bring:
– Your Covid-19 vaccination proof
– Appropriate footwear
– Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
– Raincoat (in case)
– First-aid kit (including snake bandage) if you have one
– At least 2 liters of water, lunch and some snacks
