Hey Adventurers!! Its promising to be a beautiful weekend and perfect for getting outdoors! Jessica and I want to do the Gibberagong and Murrua fire trail hike early this Saturday morning (28th). The hike is about 5 hours with some significant uphill sections, it’s classified as moderate to hard. Large sections are pretty flat and the environment is truly stunning, you will cross a mangrove swamp over a wooden bvoardwalk, walk along a beautiful creek and also get some stunning views across the park and Bobbin Head from the higher spots. We’ll start and stop at the Bobbin Head Picnic Ground which has all amenities and we can do a a picnic BBQ lunch after the hike if anyone is interested. Also bringing your bathers would be a good idea, Cowan creek offers lots of fun in the water.
Must be able to be picked up from the city at 8am for a 9am start at Bobbin Head Picnic Ground (or make similar arrangements of your own). We should car pool as much as possible as there are park entry charges. Passengers in vehicles will need $10 for their drivers to cover fuel and park access. We should be back in the city between 3 and 4pm. Should be a very fun day.
I will accept all registrations as they come in if space is available. Hope to see you there.
