Step by step, I can feel my feet slipped on the ro Step by step, I can feel my feet slipped on the rock ever so slightly, like a magnet repelled from the ground, my feet didn't seem to stay still. I turned my head and looked back. The vast emptiness has swallowed the clean, crispy sounds of water hitting against the bottom. Gracefully slipped down to the waterfall along the green moss, I felt like my feet have been submerged in a white curtain, standing on nothingness. Despite buckets and buckets of water pouring down on our heads and shoulders, our bodies have resisted the invasion of cold because of our passion for the canyon.

Last week, nine of our daring souls went to Kanangra-Boyd National Park and did Danae Brook Canyon (v4a2VI***) and Box creek (v4a2II*), with @alex.motyka , @chris.augood , and Susan So leading the trip. We managed to finish Danae with a climb out and under 11 hours. Box Creek was an excellent bang for buck trip as it offers a very short walk-in, 9 consecutive abseils, and a short walk-out.
.
Shout out to @accessgear , thanks Pete's high quality rope bags to help our SRT rigging running smoothly.

At the end of last year Alex, Johann, Susan, Toby, At the end of last year Alex, Johann, Susan, Toby, Tom and Chris embarked upon Kanangra Main Canyon (v4a2V***), ‘a monstrous beastie and not for the faint of hearted’ located in Kanangra-Boyd National. They Manoeuvred the canyon using single rope techniques (SRT), which were recently taught to them by the Australian Canyoning Association (ACA). This enabled them to progress efficiently and safely through the canyon. Thank you, Alex, for leading the trip with Chris and sharing your technical canyoning skills and knowledge of the area. They even got to try out a guided rappel which was a first for many of them, rigged by Alex!
