Susan and myself will be walking from Berowra to Mt Kuring gai along Cowan creek this upcoming Sunday. This walk has some great views over the various bays in the area and there are a couple of nice lookouts along the way. The walk is approximately 10km and should take around 5 hours. It has some short steep sections so a moderate level of fitness is required. Both the start and end of the walk are accessible by public transport and as it’s on sunday, the train will only cost you $2.60. l plan on starting the walk around 10am and finishing around 3pm.

You will need to bring the following:
Comfortable walking shoes
At least 2 litres of water
Something for lunch
Sunscreen (optional)
First aid kit if you have one (optional)

Here are the track notes if anyone is interested
