To all Ladies in our Club!
You are welcome to join our
“Ladies trip to the rock”
with hats, gloves and afternoon tea served in fine china
The trip will be run by our experienced adventurers – Lady Vladi and Lady Stacey. We will attempt to conquer the rock with style and in elegance while sharing gossip and giggles above a cup of tea and delicious cookies.
Skills taught will be tailored by the experience of participating ladies but will certainly cover the basic rope skills for outdoor top roping, climbing technique and may also include stuff on anchor building and lead climbing.
You will find answers to all your questions!!! particularly delicate woman topics such as:
– how not to loose your hat while belaying (particular attention will be paid to hats with peacock feather)
– walking in high heels on rocky terrain
– advantages of fine china tea pots against Billy tea
– how to sew a chalk bag into a pocket of your dress
– how to quickly find the pocket with chalk in the many folds of your dress
– what to do if you don`t find the pocket with the chalk and can`t hold on any longer
– can I fall elegantly?
– no you can`t
– but you can scream elgantly
– can I become a Ninja Vorrior?
– you already are if you have signed for this trip
Places on this trip are limited by the weight of porcelain and cookies we can carry.
Necessary requirement to be accepted to this is you have to have previous climbing experience (at least indoors) and have your own climbing shoes.
Location to be determined, most likely Blue Mountains. The trip will be postponed in the event of bad weather.
