G’day all,
To compliment the ice climbing trip we will be running a backcountry ski/board adventure alongside it. We will accomodate for both snow shoeing snowboarders and ski touring skiers.
The intention is to drive up late Thursday night, tour out onto the main range on Friday and spend the night camping on the snow before returning to the cars on Saturday, leaving Sunday free for a small day trip or potential Kosciuszko summit mission.
Backcountry ski experience not required, though strong inbounds capabilities mandatory (think confident on black runs inbounds). Prior camping experience also a plus. Please state your experience in the “gear I need” section.
Preference given to those who can drive and/or already have gear
