Hi All,

Want to join us on a scenic MTB ride through one of the most famous and most popular ride in Sydney and the Blue Mountains?

Here is your chance to Join Wally and I on the Oaks Trail. The best part is that this trail is public transport friendly!

Due to the difficult logistic nature of bike trips, you will need to organise your own bike/equipment and Travel to and from the Trail. More importantly, your bike must be in a safe and reliable condition for ACTUAL mountain biking.

Please type in the bike brand and model of your bike in the “gear required section. If you are unsure, please feel free to email us a pic of your bike so we can help you. The last thing we want is turn this into a side car hiking trip.

Here is the plan for logistic.

Start: Woodford: https://goo.gl/maps/Erj4g22WvqxPf2No8

End: Glenbrook https://goo.gl/maps/Avmfnu4DSz7yWHWC6 .

If you are planning to drive its best to park at Glenbrook as we will be finishing there You can catch a train up to Woodford. If you are planning to take your bike on the Train, you can catch a train up to Woodford (start) from Central (BMT lines) and return from Glenbrook station. Please check the train time table as any delays on the network may impact your travel plans.

By car

We recommend you park at Glenbrook and train up to Woodford (but if you must park at the Trail head)

· Heading west along the Great Western Highway, turn left into the Appian Way.

· Turn left into Parker Street

· Turn left into Taylor Road and the trail starts 50m ahead on your right.

By train

· Exit Woodford Railway Station to the south.

· The station ramp leads to Railway Parade where you turn left and follow (towards Sydney) for 300m.

· At the junction, turn right into Appian Way for 100m.

· Turn left into Parker Street for 80m.

· Turn left into Taylor Road and the trail starts 50m ahead on your right

· There are signs to identify the park and the trail commences here, however you’ll have to lift your bike over the low fence.
