KNOTS, HITCHES AND RELEVANT ANCHORS.

We’ll put the evening into a practical context, demonstrating as we (simulate) abseiling down say into a multi pitch climb out.

So we start off with an overhand knot to join our ropes, knotting the abseil rope ends and an auto belay for the first person down, the Trip Leader then…….

It’d be great if you brought what you think you need for such trip or if you don’t have the gear, make a list. That’s all you’ll have out on the crag to get in and out safely.
Being ready, having planned is a great start to any trip.
