skills workshop
Hello guys,
Been a long time since abseil skills 2 has been run. Richard, Tyler, and I are planning to run one AS2 at Glenbrook on the 5th June (weather dependent). Overlooking the river and plains, this is a nice area for you to learn knots, anchor building (natural and bolts), self-belay while abseiling, and possibly ascending if we have time.
This trip is mostly intended for new trip leaders and those interested in become one, but if you’re tired of just watching trip leaders setting anchors, you’re very much welcome to join?.
Prerequisite: abseil skill 1 or equivalent
No matters in climbing, abseiling, or canyoning, this trip is essential in skill progression toward leading any rope trips and improvised rope rescue.
Let me know your outdoor abseiling experience and any rope-related experience (such as tying knots?) in the sign-up information section.
We will deal with gear afterwards.
Cheers,
Johann Pai
