Vera and I are organising a trip for a rogain in the ACT on the 14th. This is a 6 hour event. Rogaining is an activity that involves navigation. Its much like orienteering.

Plan: Saturday drive to Canberra and camp!. Sunday Rogain!
I would like our team to be registered by lunch time on Saturday the 6th.
The event runs between Sunday 14 August 2022, 09:30am – 03:30pm. However you need to be at the event at 8am. For this reason we will be camping saturday.
Experience required: can walk 6 hours without complaining. Likes walking 6 hours. Happy to do this event as a walking event.
To join this you must respond to communications. Vera should be contactable. I will be out of communication from the 7th to the night on the 12th
The cost for this event is $30 full fee / $24 concession fee. Camping $16 / person
Also expect to pay for fuel which will roughly be about $42 if 2 people come /cheaper if more come.
Gear to bring: small lightweight first aid kit, food that you can eat while walking, water. Appropriate footwear.
For camping: warm clothes! anticipate around 1c at night
