canyoning
We are planning on running a canyon trip however there are some significant access issues at the moment so the exact details of this trip may change.
However it will have these qualities:
– There will be some abseiling,
– No wetsuits required, however we may get wet feet/have to wade,
– We will be doing some hiking between 1-5km in/out depending on where we end up,
– It will be amazing!
Likely candidates are:
– Coachwood Canyon
– Jugglers Canyon
– Castle Head Multi-pitch Abseil
Who is this trip for?
– Those who have completed Abseil Skills 1,
– Comfortable with heights, expect a 20m+ abseil.
What you will need:
– Harness & Helmet (indicate if you need from club when signing up)
– Enclosed shoes that you are happy to get wet (ie volleys),
– Towel and spare clothes should we get wet,
– Space blanket,
– Headtorch,
– Trail Snacks.
