WELCOME to UTS OAC!!
To start off an amazing 2023, you’re invited to a BBQ at the Ledge Indoor Climbing Gym at the University of Sydney. You’ll have the chance to meet all our wonderful members and Trip Leaders, and learn about the club and all the thrilling things you can get into.
It is also our usual social climbing night, no experience required. We will have some of our awesome trip leaders on hand to show you how to climb and belay safely. We will also be able to provide harnesses. If you have climbing shoes feel free to bring them, otherwise shoes with a solid edge.
Time and place:
18:00-21:00 = indoor climbing at The Ledge Climbing Centre
Feel free to come early and stay late
Cost: $8 general entry to the Ledge upon presentation of proof of UTS OAC membership.
Getting there/parking: If you’re coming from UTS/Central, there are plenty of buses that go down Broadway which you can catch. It’s also only a 20 minute walk from UTS so super convenient if you have class that day. If you’re driving, the best place to park your car is street parking somewhere around the Forest Lodge Hotel. Parking at USyd is paid.

• No need to sign up, but doing so will help us out logistically
