Kalang Falls – Multi-pitch Canyon – 400m Waterfall height total

14 pitches of waterfall abseiling, up to 55 metre drops.
Be prepared, we are going through the wet line.
This canyon is not for the faint-hearted, only experienced canyoners should apply.

To join the trip, you should be able to:
@ Rig and manage SRT anchors or releasable anchors.
@ Be able to abseil in cold waterfall conditions.
@ Have good fitness to be able to manage the steep climb up Murdering Gully.
@ Actively participate in group canyon work, everyone will be carrying ropes, rigging anchors, and scouting for routes.
@ Have a decent wetsuit to cope with the cold conditions, a 3/2 mm wetsuit may not be good enough.

The canyon requires teamwork, efficiency, and good rope management to make it through in daylight.
Early Sunday start so that we can head back to Sydney in the late afternoon.
Car to car about 9 hours. Quicker if we are a quick team.

If you have not canyoned with me before, please list your canyon experience to be considered for the trip.
