Hi all
Ronny, Gus and I are planning to head up to Empress Canyon on Easter Friday.
Empress is a great beginner canyon which ends with a fantastic 30m abseil down a waterfall.

To be considered, you must:
1. Have a car. A few of us are staying at the Blue Mountains overnight so won’t be able to drive people back to Sydney after the trip, so participants will need to be able to make their own way there.
2. Able to swim in deep cold water up to 20m
3. Good level of fitness to hike up and down steep hills
4. Recently completed Abseil Skills 1 or previous abseil experience in other club trips
5. Be capable of hiking and manoeuvring through wet, slippery and uneven terrain riddled with numerous amounts of tripping hazards
When signing up, please state a) what gear you would need. The club can provide wetsuits, harness, etc and b) what desencder you’ve used to abseil.
