My name’s Brendon and I’m an ex President/Trip Leader/Quartermaster from our beloved OAC. Thanks to UTS and the OAC I became a nationally qualified rock climbing instructor and the Sydney manager for the Australian School of Mountaineering.

ASM Sydney delivers Climb Fits Learn2Lead course at Kirrawee and St Leonards. We also deliver rope rescue and anchor courses at The Ledge and will soon deliver courses at Climb Fit Macquarie!

Over the past five years I’ve offered OAC and UNSWOC Trip Leaders opportunities to become casual instructors with ASM, right here in Sydney! Over this time four OAC and one UNSW Trip Leader have taken up this opportunity and became nationally qualification instructors, and worked casually for ASM in the Blue Mountains!
