skills workshop
Hiya Members,
Autumnal wild food foraging has arrived!
We are running a Mushroom foraging skills trip down at Belangelo and Penrose state forest.
We’ll teach you how to forage and identify edible Slippery Jacks and Saffron milk caps amongst the pine plantations.
After collecting our bounty, we will gather together for a harvest festival of butter, parsely, and garlicky mushrooms on crusty bread and bubbly apple cider (byo).
Drivers are needed and new members will be given priority.
This is a totally chilled-out relaxing, social day, filled with food foraging and eating your own harvest!
Pets are welcome to come along.
If you have read this email properly, tell me in the sign-up what you’ll bring to share with the group, eg, crusty fresh bread, cheese, dark chocolate, dips n crackers, apple pie, cheesecake…
NB. This trip is weather dependant. We’ll have a plan B in place if the weather isn’t cooperative.
See you on the trip!
Susan, Salome, Liv, Pat and Jess
