UTSOAC trip to Bonnet Bay crag, May 2023
Hi everyone,
We have a climbing trip planned to Bonnet Bay, catering to beginners and intermediate climbers (sport grades 15 – 20+). More info on the crag here: https://www.thecrag.com/en/climbing/australia/sutherland/area/12010099.
Prequisites to this trip: Rock Skills 1
To ensure the best experience for all, please provide details of your climbing experience during sign-up, such as indoor/outdoor climbing background, and any club skills trips you’ve taken.
Essential gear that the club can provide if needed:
Helmet
Harness + Personal Anchor System (PAS)
Belay device + Carabiner
In addition to the gear above, you’ll need the following personal items:
- Climbing shoes
- Lunch/Snacks
- Minimum 2 liters of water
- Rain jacket/warm clothes
- Petrol money for drivers
- Sunscreen protection
In the event of wet weather, we can consider an indoor session at St Peter’s.
