Hello adventurers!
Claustral Canyon is my second favourite canyon in the bluey. Imagine you in a dark room, sunlight reflecting off the moving water as you tread through, making the entire cave like a mid-day disco rave, with you dancing along the music, gliding on the water, and splashing your mates. The most fantastic of them all is that you get to go through a key hole as the start of the abseil to challenge your phobia.
Elaine and I are leading this amazing trip. It’s going to be a chill yet exciting day.
You can expect a beautiful stretch of river valley, constrictions, swims, scrambles and epic ridge walks. This is an advanced trip, you must have done a few canyons by now, be comfortable with heights, jumps into water, abseiling and extended swims with packs and wetsuits.
Prerequisites: Abseil Skill 2 or equivalent (anchor building & self rescue with prussiks)
The walk out is very long and can test even the fittest of us!
The reward is worth it! If you fit the pre-requisites, get on board!
