Megafest Sunday Wollangambe Crater Hike
Come join me and Niamh for a walk past rock pagodas and secluded bushland to the Wollangambe Crater. Enjoy views of the National Park and an optional dip in the Wollangambe River. Most of the path is easy to follow with a little off trail (no navigation experience required to join the trip). Participants must be comfortable with some rock scrambling and walking off track.
Location: Wollangambe Crater, starting from Bell
When: Sunday 3rd December
Distance: 17km (out and back)
Duration: Approximately 5.5 hours
Elevation gain: 660m
Participants:
No experience/skills necessary
Must be comfortable with rock scrambling and off track walking
Items to bring:
2+ Litres of water
Warm clothes incase the weather changes
Rainjacket
Sun hat
Sunscreen
Lunch and snacks
Sturdy hiking boots, trail running shoes or suitable walking shoes
Personal First Aid kit if you have
Petrol money for drivers if you are car pooling
Medications if necessary

Megafest
If you plan to camp as part of Megafest, please register in the “SAVE THE DATE: 2023 Megafest Weekend (Registration)” event. You may request to borrow camping gear and be included in the group dinner through that trip.
Car Pooling
Myself and most participants will be departing from Cathedral Campground on Sunday, but you can meet at Bell Station instead if you are not. Please state if you can bring a car and help with transport including the journey home. An email will be sent out regarding carpooling from Sydney and itinerary details to participants.
