canyoning
Susan and I are planning an ambitious double canyon trip where we will link up Hole-in-the-Wall (HITW) with Banks canyon. These canyons are both tributaries of the Bungleboori, so you can combine them into one long day. HITW is a very popular canyon with detailed track notes. Banks Canyon on the opposite side of the Bungleboori will be much more exploratory, as it’s rarely visited and has limited track notes.
This trip is for experienced canyoners. You’ll need a high level of fitness, and confident scrambling skills for a round trip of 20km, much of it off-track, with many abseils.
It will be an early start to give us the greatest chance of success. Probably 6:30 at the canyon carpark. I will be driving up and camping the night before.
