Hey OAC adventurers!
The time has come to have some extraterrestrial, inter-galactic fun in one of the most stunning canyons that this planet (well, at least the Blue Mountains…) has to offer!
If you think that with all your amazing skills there has to be some non-human blood running through your veins, then here’s your chance to show your fellow OAC members your best alien outfit! We will be running an alien dress-up canyon trip through Whungee Wheengee on Sunday 25 February.
Please make sure that you meet the following requirements before you sign up for this trip:
– Good level of fitness (there are two steep climbs, one on the way in and another one on the way out)
– Confident abseiler and successful completion of AS1
– Some prior canyoning experience – 3 at least as a rule of thumb
– Ability to swim unassisted for at least 500m (there is a long swim down the Wollangambe as part of this canyon)
– Keen to let out the extraterrestrial in you!
We will confirm logistics and what to bring at a later stage, once participants have been confirmed.
Where possible, we will aim to car pool. Please indicate if you have a car and whether you can give other participants a lift.
