We have access to the North Sydney Scout Hall. This will be an opportunity to practice any rope skills/knots that you need to work on. If you are a new member this is also an opportunity to learn/practice basic knots.
Whilst there will be Trip Leaders there to assist. There may not be enough trip leaders to teach you, what you want to learn. I suggest finding a YouTube video or online resource that demonstrates the knot, that you can then practice from.
This will be a particularly beneficial opportunity for Trip Leaders to practice hauls and complex rope skills that you don’t regularly use and could do with practice. It is also an excellent opportunity for those who attended the SRT workshop to practice their SRT skills.
