Beginners’ Abseiling Trip at Malaita Point

Hey Everyone,

Have you just completed AS1 and are keen to put your new skills to use?
Sabs and I will be running a beginners’ abseiling trip to Malaita Point this Saturday the 7th. It is a series of very exposed abseils so you must be comfortable with heights.

Experience Required:
must have completed Abseil Skills 1 (AS1)
must be comfortable with heights
must have a decent level of fitness – steep stairs out with all your gear
Please list any other abseil trips you have done, none is fine

We will aim to meet at the start of the trail at 9am and be back at the cars at 5pm

Gear Required:
Helmet (club can provide)
Harness (club can provide)
Abseiling Device (club can provide)
Gloves
Rain Jacket to block wind
Hair Ties for long hair if required
Closed, Grippy Shoes
Lunch and Snacks
2L of Water
