Hello Everyone!
It is that time of year again – Save the date for Megafest 2024!
Megafest is our annual camping weekend, where the whole club comes together for an adventurous two days in the Blue Mountains. We will be camping at Cathedral of Ferns on Saturday night (some people will head down Friday night as well).
From there we will have numerous trips running on both the Saturday and Sunday, such as:
• Canyoning
• Climbing
• Hiking
• Abseiling
Trip leaders will post their own separate events closer to the date. You will need to wait for approval from them for attendance. Even if you don’t join a trip, you are welcome to just join us camping. We will also be cooking up a BBQ on the saturday night.
If you’re thinking of attending please sign up to this trip posting and indicate what camping gear you might need in the “gear i need” section. This is very important or we might not bring anything for you, leading to a long cold night of wishing you had read the email.
Trip leaders could you also indicate in the signup info if you are interested in running a trip and what type, I’ll organise a more formal system later but good to get an idea of numbers.
