Classic Blue Mountain hiking.
This hike is a 20km beauty!
We will be exploring the Grose Valley at the Blackheath section.
Starting from Evan’s lookout, descend via Horse Track, past Junction Rock, traverse along Govett’s creek, and back up to the top via Perry’s Lookdown track.
At the top, we jog along Hathill Road and head to Govett’s Leap and final finish along the cliff tops back at Evan’s.
Start at 9 am and should be done by 5 pm.
Descend/Ascend: Approx: 950m
Distance: Approx:20km
Time: Approx: 8 hours including breaks
This trip is an ideal pack training trip, so load up your pack with heaps of water.
