canyoning
Hey all
Canyoning season is in full swing, so come and join us for our trip to Yileen Canyon this Saturday!
This is a very pretty canyon with some nice abseils and jumps, and then a big massive spectacular abseil at the very end!
As a bonus, we can leave one car half way between the start and end of the canyon which makes the walk out a little easier than for most other canyons.
If this sounds like fun to you, then please make sure you tick the following boxes:
– completed Abseil Skills 1
– confident with height – that last abseil is pretty big (40m)!
– good fitness level for walk in and out
– ability to reply to emails promptly so we can get this organised in a seamless way
We’ll get into the details of what to bring once we’ve accepted the participants, so just a few high level points at this stage so you know what you’re signing up for:
– We’ll be meeting at about 6am at UTS Building 10 on Saturday 18 January
– This is an all day trip, expect to be back in Sydney sometime after 6pm
– We only have one car at the moment, so anyone who can bring a car and give some other participants a lift will be prioritised! Anyone who gets a lift will contribute petrol money.
