Kia Ora Members,
Over the summer holidays, I got to experience the glorious New Zealand canyons for the first time with an amazing and capable club crew.
I am keen to head back and skill up, to conquer more of these aquatic canyons.
The 4-day course is with a reputable and experienced canyon trainer, the course is “Lead the Canyon”

The course will run from 18th to 21st April. Afterward, we will utilize our skills to explore the canyons around the area until the departure date.
This course and trip is not suitable for beginners, and more suited for independent and self-sufficient canyoners with a minimum of completing at least 20 canyons.
I hope to encourage more people to be skilled and competent in aquatic canyons and be ready for the 2026 Canyon Festival Meet-up in New Zealand in March 2026.

Estimated Costs:
Course 4 day Canyon – Lead the Canyon NZD 1200
Airfare: Sydney-Nelson return flights $1500
Car hire: Small SUV $1000 to be shared
Petrol: $300 to be shared
Food and Accommodation: $1000 to be shared
Total: $4000- $5000
