Join Sean and I for an afternoon cool down and a lap of one of the Blue Mountains finest!
The plan is to meet up for a quick afternoon lap down Empress on Saturday afternoon, camp at Cathedral reserve, then do Claustral on Sunday.
Claustral is an intermediate canyon that requires a high level of fitness (walk out is long). A minimum of abseil skills 1 and 3-4 previous canyons is required. Please state your experience in the signup notes.
The club can provide the following gear:
Harness + PAS
Abseil device
Wetsuit
Dry bags
Canyon pack
Gloves
Helmet
Please state which you will need in the signup notes (including wetsuit size and device preference).
Preference will be given to those that can assist transporting participants from Sydney on Saturday afternoon.
