Have you ever wanted to feel old and retired, sitting on the river bank, beer in hand and rod in the other? 😉 (I hope that’s allowed)
Well await no further my friend! Join Hammy and I (Bennett) at Gunnamatta bay wharf for a cracking day of fishing on May 4th (may the 4th be with you). If your a beginner to the world of fishing no worries at all! It will be an easy day focused on helping you get a fish! And of course for those more experienced anglers it will be a nice day to hopefully catch some decent fish!
Gear:
We only have 6 rod and reel set-ups currently however if you have your own or would like to buy some beginner equipment have a chat and we are happy to help 🙂
FISHING LICENSE
Everyone who attends MUST get a recreational fishing license before the trip but its easy to get online!
$7 for a 3-day pass
$35 for an annual license (My recommendation as we are hoping to run some more fishing trips!!)
What should I bring?
Fishing rod and reel set up (if you have it but fine if not)
2L of water, good to keep hydrated!
Snacks and/or lunch, there is also a cafe right near. Also Cronulla is very close!
A bbq chair or similar if you wanna chill out while you fish,
Swimmers – Gunnamatta bay is home to a lovely ocean pool which will also be a bit of fun on top of our fishing fun!
Since winter is on it’s way, it may get a little chilly on the water particularly if its windy so a jumper and beanie will be ideal as well!
