We’ll be running a beginner climbing trip up in Berowra this coming Sunday. We’ll be starting around 9:30am and will spend a few hours there.
There are a range of climb difficulties at this crag, so it should be accessible for most climbers. Details can be found here: https://www.thecrag.com/en/climbing/australia/hornsby-and-the-north/area/12009763
You will need to arrange your own way to the crag, via driving, carpooling or public transport.
You’ll need (* = can borrow from club):
- *Harness
- *Helmet
- *Belay device
- Rock climbing shoes (you can climb without them, just not as nice)
- 2L water
- Lunch/snacks
- Sun protection
When registering, please state if you require any of the above equipment, as well as the last time you went climbing outdoors, whether or not it was with the club. You’ll need to have done RS1, or have equivalent climbing experience to be accepted.
