Hello all,
It’s that time of year again — the Paddy Pallin 6 hour rogaine. Rogaining is the sport of cross country navigation. You have a limited time to collect as many controls on your map as possible.
This 60th anniversary edition of the event features quite a few special treats, for one, Stu and I have set the map. We’ve searched every nook and cranny, found every gorgeous gum and gully, GPS-tracked as many bike trails as possible, and otherwise ensured this would be a super fun course. Also, a super flat one! Handily, Susan So is running a nav-skills course the day before, right by the main event, so your compass skills should be fresh in memory.
Let me know in your sign-up if you’d like a hand finding team-mates, if you need gear, or if you’d like to hang around at camp and help out instead of running around in the bush. Volunteering nets you free entry to other rogaines. Also, let us know if you’re camping Saturday and need camping equipment, or just driving to Nowra on the day (maps available from 7am).
$70/$50 concession (+optional $20 Saturday meal)
