G’day Wanderers,
The rogaining season has kicked off! After the 3 hour Eastern Suburbs minigaine last week, expect at least one rogaine a month, ramping up in length and wildness (is a full 24 hour event in your future?).
This one is still very straightforward and beginner friendly. Bantry Bay isn’t far out of the way, and much of the course should be on pavement or tracks. In short, accessible on multiple fronts. Prices listed at the link below.
“Come and explore some of Sydney’s finest bush tracks around picturesque Bantry Bay & Manly Dam. The course will provide plenty of route options through Garigal National Park and will feature some secluded waterfalls, natural bridges, and scenic sandstone bluffs.
This event will appeal to all – from families with young children to experienced competitors. Parts of the course might seem like remote wilderness but you’ll actually won’t be too far from civilisation with plenty of shops, cafes and pubs on the map.”
