Sorry about the late posting….
Join Tom, Toby and I for Aresthusa Canyon this Saturday.
Super-wet abseiling canyon combined with a climbing exit.
Prerequisite:
@Previous canyoning experience
@Can swim 50m in deep cold water with a pack
@Comfortable with a 46-metre multi-pitch climbing (you’ll be top-roped),
@Hand-over-hand climb out and scrambling
@Can sustain a long exit out (up to 5 hours)
Let us know in the gear section, if you need to borrow club gear and the wetsuit size.
Note:
The leaders won’t be able to provide lifts on the way back to Sydney as we’ll be camping that night in the mountains. We can drop you off at the nearest train station.
