Looking to progress to more advanced roles on abseiling or canyoning trips with the club? Join myself and a few other Trip Leaders for Abseil Skills 2 (AS2) on Sunday, May 26th.

AS2 is designed to equip participants with the technical skills necessary for seconding or assisting experienced Trip Leaders on rope related club trips. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to progress within the club 🙂

• Time: 09:00-3:00pm

What to Expect: a mixture of theory and practical sessions, including gear management and maintenance, knots, anchors, basic abseil rigging, descending and ascending rope, abseiling with a self-belay/third hand.

Registration: Upon signing up, please include a brief note about your prior rope skills, including if you have completed AS1.
