Hello everyone and a welcome to our new members!
Susan and I will be leading an abseiling trip to Clovelly. This is a great opportunity for beginners to get exposed to the field of abseiling/rappelling. Abseiling is the action of descending a vertical or near vertical surface using a rope. This is especially relevant if you intend on participating in some canyoning and big wall abseiling trips.
We will be spending the day going through basic safe practices and trying some abseils on a few sea cliffs at Clovelly.
All rope and equipment will be provided for by the club. The only thing you would need to bring is your own personal gear like clothing, sun protection, food, water. and money for chipping in for petrol. More info of what to bring will be sent out to successful applicants.

Transport: Carpooling (preference will be given to those who have cars)
