caving
Gday peeps,
We are planning to do some caving and exploring and would like you to join us. We are currently waiting for the cave systems to be opened and are hoping it will be by this date. If its not opened then this trip will be delayed.
Day 1 will be some basic caves. You should be comfortable with tight spaces and getting very dirty along with doing some abseiling.
Day 2 will be an exploration of drum cave. This will be a serious physical effort involving a 60m abseil and a subsequent ascent back up the rope along with all the other joy that comes with exploring a massive cave system. IF YOU CANNOT DO THIS then there are a bunch of super awesome hikes in the area that you can do.
We will be camping in the cold but there is a kitchen with full facilities.
Preference will be given to people who can bring a car.
Please state your skill level and experience and if you are going to be caving or hiking on day 2

Headlamp (and secondary light source)
Decender (raprack required for drum cave)
Ascender (drum cave)
