Ever thought ten toes was far too many?

Winter sports season is in full swing. Join us for a long weekend of low friction sliding away from society. The backcountry season is only just starting, and you can expect more trips coming down the pipeline!

We will be driving up Thursday night after work, then spending three days out on the main range camping on snow and backcountry skiing/boarding.

The itinerary for the trip will be moulded by group size, experience, weather, and vibe closer to the time. If you have any fun zones or objectives you want to hit, we are all ears!

Requisite experience:
– Extensive “standard” camping and hiking experience.
– High level of on-piste ski/boarding ability.
– Preference given for those with prior backcountry experience
– Explain your skill level in the sign up information. The more detail the better.

Equipment:
– If you need to hire gear, this must be done in Sydney. We will not be stopping for hire equipment on the way up.
– Club can provide camping gear. We prefer you have your own, though if you need to borrow something to make sure you are comfortable in the cold we can provide sleeping bags, sleeping mats, tents, and cooking gear.
– State what you have/need in the sign up info.
– You must provide/source all winter specific clothing and equipment.

Money:
We will try and take as few cars as possible to minimise fuel costs. You will be required to pay a share of the car you are in. Please state if you need a lift or can drive yourself.

See you all out there!
