Danae Brook Canyon – with a super-long boulder field traverse. Then steep walkout via Kilpatrick Causeway back up to Kanangra Walls.
This is the traditional route through the canyon.
16km Distance,10-15 Abseils, up to 35m in length, 640-metre ascent.
Estimated Time: Anywhere between 10-18 hours.
Aiming for 12-14 hours with a small efficient party.

Requirements:
@Self-sufficient, experienced canyoner, preferably with some experience in Kanangra
@Canyoning SRT, participants are to have their own SRT abseil device.
@Assist with ropes and teamwork.
@Proficient at rock scrambling, and problem-solving a path through a boulder field,
@Good fitness and endurance for a long day.
@ 6 am start canyon.

We may finish after 6 pm or later, and then we need to drive back to Sydney afterward.
Would be great to have participants who can help drive.

If I have not canyoned with you before, please put in your recent outdoor experience and another leader for reference who can vouch for you.

Trip highly dependent on weather.
This trip is not suitable for the slow or unfit, as we need to move at a relatively decent pace to get back at a reasonable time.
