Heya,
Sunil and I (Zen) will be running a day hike on Friday the 1st. It’s a nice trail and easy to get to. It’s relatively easy, so if you’re new to hiking but have a moderate level of fitness (it’s a 10+ km loop), then this is for you! Of course, more experienced hikers are also welcome.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
– A day pack
– Water (2 litres minimum)
– Food (lunch + snacks)
– Closed, supportive shoes
– Sun protection
WHEN AND WHERE?
– Friday the 1st of September
– We’ll meet at 9:30 am at Koonjeree Picnic Area
– We’ll probably finish the walk at around 2:00 pm
– The walk is in Lane Cove National Park
GETTING THERE
– There are busses (the 259 and 256) that go straight to the Koonjeree Picnic Area from Chatswood station
– If you’re driving, there will be an $8 National Parks parking fee
