Hey,
Toby and I will be headed down to Newnes state forest to explore some canyon’s around the area.
If we don’t know you personally please state your previous canyoning or bushwalking experience in the gears I need section
This unique journey takes you through two canyons in the Wollemi wilderness. Both are stunning slot canyons and you don’t get too wet. It’s a great introduction to canyoning for people with no canyoning experience.
Toby and I will be camping at Cathedral reserve campground after our canyoning trip on Saturday so you’ll have to catch a train to Lithgow where we can pick you guys up (Alternatively if someone with a AWD or FWD signs up we can arrange transport accordingly) other option will be to catch the train on Saturday evening to join us for camping.

– Confident in swimming (There will be some swims and jumps involved)
– Good fitness level to carry around 10-12 kg backpacks on very steep sections and rough terrains
– Good mobility level as there will be some rock hopping and rock scrambling involved.
