leader training skills workshop

Hello all,

UTSOAC gets a 20% discount from Australian School of Mountaineering via an old president, Brendon Flanagan. We’re going to make use of that to ensure our advanced skills courses can be offered more often. Please fill in the linked survey to express interest and your preferred dates. ASM has offered they would cater the curriculum to experience levels based on interest, so provide your details and skill levels even if you’re super advanced or just starting out:

Price: $399 per person

Dates: Aug 17/18 or Sept 14/15

Prereqs: Level 2 vertical skills e.g. AS2/RS2

There is still the possibility of an internally organized (and thus free) course being offered at some point in the near future, but that’s dependent on the availability of volunteers. In the interim, feel free to request topics at the monthly Tuesday night practice sessions.
