canyoning
Hi all,
On the 16th/17th of November, Nat and I will be heading out to the Bungleboori for a weekend of canyoning.
THE PLAN:
– We’ll head up on Friday night and set up camp at the Bungleboori Campground: https://maps.app.goo.gl/MNaeBzij3qsK8z4r6?g_st=ic (it’s ugly but will have to do).
– On Saturday, we’ll get up nice and early to tackle Hole-in-the-Wall and Banks (I’ll share the planned route for this closer to the day).
– On Sunday, we’ll do Popeye canyon before heading back to Sydney.

– I will share track notes for Banks and Popeye canyons closer to the date.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
– Good physical fitness. We’ll be doing a lot of walking to and from the canyons. Combining Hole-in-the-Wall and Banks may be a ~13hr day.
– AS1
– At least a couple of other canyons/some other abseiling experience.
GEAR:
– Don’t worry about the ‘gear I need’ section, I’ll send out a spreadsheet to organise this closer to the date.
