James, Ronny and I will be heading to Mt Boyce for an intermediate climbing trip in the Blue Mountains.
This trip is intended for people who have already climbed outdoor lead or top-rope. You have to be confident climbing outdoor routes with grades 17 or higher (as the wall that we’ll climb does not offer very beginner level climbs). You also need to know how to perform abseil autonomously (preferably with self belay).
You need to have demonstrated these skills to one of the trip leaders. Routes are not particularly difficult but they are quite long and exposed.
You don’t need to know how to lead climb though (top-ropes can be set for you 😉 ).
– Car pooling: please indicate when signing up if you can drive and how many seats you have available.
– Train: If there are not enough car spots
