snorkeling
With Monday being both a public holiday and an unusually hot day for autumn, what better thing to do than snorkelling shenanigans?
We will meet at Bower Street Reserve at noon – this is the park out next to the beach 33°48’08.2″S 151°17’51.2″E
Getting there:
• Light rail to Circular Quay and catch the ferry to Manly Wharf, then walk 20 min to the beach
• Driving yourself: there is limited paid parking around the beach
This trip is for people who:
• have an excellent cold tolerance in water
• can swim at least 200m unassisted
• are comfortable swimming in the open ocean
What to bring:
• Swimmers
• Hat
• Beach Towel
• Water Bottle
• Sunscreen
• Snacks (be ready to share)
• Sunglasses
Gear you will need (the club can provide equipment if necessary)
• Optional wetsuit (XS, S, M, L, XL) – Please mention size
• Mask and snorkel
• Flippers
Please provide some information about yourself and your snorkelling/swimming experience in the sign-up info. If you do, you will be much more likely to get onto the trip.
