Hey all,
Feeling a bit shut in? Like the world at home is getting a bit too small? Why not make the wilderness your home, and the bush your bed for a few days.
We’ll be headed to the Budawangs in Morton National Park (not Budawangs National Park believe it or not) for the long the weekend. The plan is to camp at Wog Wog campground for Friday night, and then hike the next three days, heading back up to Sydney on Monday arvo. The whole route will be from Wog Wog to Mt Cole and back again.
Why come along? Well, we’ll be hiking along ridgetops and plateaus with spectacular views, descending into hidden canyon-like valleys, camping in caves, and admiring striking rock formations. Probably touching a bit of grass as well for healthy measure.
Please list your overnight/multiday hiking experience when signing up for the trip. You’ll need to have done at least one overnight/multiday hike in the past year.
If you need any gear, let us know in the signup. It’s gonna be very cold at night and in the mornings, so make sure you bring layers and that you’ll be snug enough at night.
Cheers,
Lucas and Ryan
