Howdy Adventurers!
Ever wanted to learn how to read and plot a map?
How to discern between a spur and a gully?
What do all those squiggly lines mean on a map?
How to use a compass in outdoors?
Navigation skills course will be run a little differently this time.
It will be in conjunction with the Paddy Pallin 6-hour rogaine event happening the next day also held in Nowra.
This is to encourage you all to get out and practice your nav-skills straight away!
Theory in the morning on all things maps and compasses.
Then practice in the afternoon, utilizing a course set up by our amazing course setter Salome!
Highly recommended to make it a weekend out of this, and join up the next day for the 6-hour Paddy Pallin Rogaine event (to be posted separately)
We’ll be camping overnight.
Of course, you can just do the nav skills for the day if you cannot make it for Sunday.
You’ll just need to organize your own lift back to Sydney.
