Let’s embrace winter and enjoy a white Christmas wonderland in May, A good introduction to snow camping before our trip over the June long weekend to snowshoe around Kosciusko National Park.
LOCATION: Namadgi National Park
DISTANCE: Around 30km round trip.
WHAT TO BRING: Overnight camping gear – backpack, tent, warm sleeping bag rated to -5 degrees, sleeping mat, head torch, warm clothes, wet weather gear.
EXPERIENCE LEVEL NEEDED: Previous overnight hiking experience required. Intermediate level of fitness.
