What a better way to spend winter than in the snow and wake up to a white winter wonderland. This is a good introduction to snowshoeing and snow camping with a hut nearby. Once you mastered this, we can venture out deeper into the backcountry and enjoy the spectacular views.
LOCATION: Kosciuszko National Park
WHAT TO BRING: Overnight camping gear – warm sleeping bag and sleeping mat rated to -5 degrees, 3+ season tent, backpack, warm clothes, wet weather gear. A detailed gear list https://bit.ly/3oq752g
NEED TO RENT: Snowshoes and trekking poles
EXPERIENCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Previous overnight hiking experience. Intermediate level of fitness.
