Hi all,
James, Nuwan, and I will be running a beginner skills trip on the 20th of Feb 2021.
We will probably head to a crag in the Blueys.
This trip targets members that have already climbed indoor but never experienced the joy of climbing outdoor.
Make sure you detail your climbing experience in the Sign-up information.
What we will cover
– Personal safety near cliffs,
– Pre-climb safety checks,
– Communications,
– Performing a belay,
– Basic rock climbs on top rope.
The club can provide you with personal climbing gear for the trip, please Cut & Paste the following into ‘Gear I Need Section’ when signing up (do not worry if you don’t know yet what the gears’ name correspond to):
